Right now, I'm listening to "sonho meu", on your youtube channel. Now it's your "wave" version... Anyway, I came here to say that I liked it very much, really. Your "desde que o samba é samba" touched me, really, your voice was so sweet, and your portuguese was delightful, and you guitar playing was superb!
(And, to be honest, I was surprised by your accent while singing in portuguese, that is, there was practically none of it, amazing, that's a rare and amazing thing indeed. Have you been to Brazil, or studied portuguese?)
Anyway, what I wanted to do was to say that I was thrilled by your music, and that, as a brazilian I felt also touched to see such jewels of our culture so wonderfully performed. I just saw that you also have a masterful performance of the one that's perhaps my personal favourite, Cartola, you played "o sol nascerá a sorrir", marvelous. Have you ever played a Noel Rosa song? That's Cartola opponent in my heart... =)
Anyway, sorry for the loooong message, I just wanted to say how moved I was, and that, should I ever get a chance, I'm gonna see you play
